Job Description
Shipping and Receiving Clerk
- Berlin, CT
- $22/hour
- Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
A.R. Mazzotta is assisting a local client in Berlin, CT in hiring a Shipping & Receiving Associate to join their operations team.
This is a great opportunity for someone with warehouse or manufacturing experience who values organization, accuracy, and working in a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments
- Prepare and distribute outgoing orders accurately and efficiently
- Maintain an organized and clean stockroom
- Coordinate shipments and plan logistics to ensure proper storage and flow of goods
- Track and document all incoming and outgoing inventory
- Troubleshoot shipping or inventory issues and resolve discrepancies
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials
- Follow all safety and environmental guidelines
Qualifications:
- Experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
- Ability to lift to 55 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions
- Flexibility to support operational needs as needed
