Job Description
Well-established, Connecticut based and founded, Industrial ventilation company has an opening on their team for a Shipping Clerk. Job site is located in the New Haven area.
1st shift, $18 per hour. Shipping experience is required.
Working in the warehouse area, you will be responsible for pulling product from stock on hand for incoming orders. After selecting the product according to the customers order form, you will prepare the items for shipping or in some cases to be picked up.
- Understanding of shipping processes and procedures
- Experience preparing shipping labels according to carriers requirements
- Inventory management experience
- Experience receiving and verifying orders and putting product into stock
- Data Entry skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
