This Hartford area accounting firm is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Tax Accountant with a CPA, Registered Tax Preparer, or Enrolled Agent designation to join this dedicated team.
Offering salary up to $110K
As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial health and compliance of their clients. You will work closely with a diverse client base, providing comprehensive accounting and tax services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, tax preparation, and a commitment to delivering top-notch service.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review financial statements, tax returns, and other financial reports for clients.
- Conduct tax planning and analysis to minimize tax liabilities for individuals and businesses.
- Assist clients in resolving tax-related issues and inquiries.
- Stay up to date with changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Perform financial analysis and provide strategic financial guidance to clients.
- Maintain strong client relationships through exceptional customer service.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
- CPA, Registered Tax Preparer, or Enrolled Agent designation is required
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a public accounting or similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
