Job Description
Direct Hire! Sr. Staff Accountant opportunity working for a growing accounting firm in the Hartford area.
$75K to $85K, based on longevity in the field, experience, and credentials.
Looking to add to their team, this firm is seeking a Staff Accountant with expertise in both corporate and individual tax preparation as well as general accounting practices including:
- Journal Entries.
- Bank reconciliations.
- Month end / Year end closings.
- Asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries.
- Any additional related accounting / financial tasks.
This role requires the following credentials:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- Registered tax preparer or enrolled agent.
- CPA earned or in-progress.
- Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks.
This opportunity would include a financial consulting and advisory role for your clients, assisting with day-to-day routine questions, working with financials and tax returns while sharing insight on improvement and business growth opportunities.
