Job Description
Hartford area aerospace manufacturer has a direct hire opening on their quality team for a Quality Control Manager.
This industry leader needs a strong Quality Manager who can bring their years of experience, training and expertise in the aerospace industry and direct the quality control team to ensure that the high-quality standards necessary are met.
This position is very hands-on! You will be expected to work alongside your team on a regular basis to met production deadlines.
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years’ experience working in a quality control department within the aerospace manufacturing industry
- ISO 9001 - 2015
- Non-Conformances
- KPI’s
- GD&T (Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing) experience
- Knowledge of various gauges
- Ability to read and follow blueprints
- Basic computer skills including MS Word, Excel, Outlook
- Full inspection process experience from First Article to final inspection
- Development and analyzing of SDA’s (Statistical Data Analysis)
1st shift, paying $70-80K/yr. depending on experience. There is occasional extended hours and a half day on Saturdays as needed.
