Quality Inspector – Small Parts
$28 - $35 hour, plus excellent benefits package | Direct Hire | Manufacturing
Are you an experienced Quality or Manufacturing Inspector with a strong background inspecting small, precision components?
Our client is looking for a skilled inspector with 2+ years of hands-on manufacturing inspection experience. This position requires someone who is comfortable working independently with engineering drawings, detailed specifications, microscopes, and precision measuring equipment.
What You'll Do
- Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections on precision parts, components, sub-assemblies, and finished products
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions
- Use a variety of precision measuring and inspection equipment
- Perform detailed visual inspections using microscopes
- Verify parts and manufacturing processes meet established specifications
- Identify defects and assist with root-cause analysis of quality issues
- Maintain accurate inspection, lot control, and certification records
- Document inspection results and communicate quality concerns with production
- Confirm finished products meet quality standards before shipment
What You Bring
- 2+ years of manufacturing inspection experience
- Strong knowledge of precision measurement and inspection techniques
- Experience inspecting small, intricate, or highly detailed components
- Experience using a microscope for detailed inspection
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to identify quality issues and assist with root-cause investigations
- Ability to work independently and maintain detailed inspection records
