Job Description

Quality Inspector – 1st Shift
Southington, CT | $20–$28/hr (DOE)

Join a leading manufacturer and put your inspection expertise to work! We’re seeking a skilled Quality Inspector for our 1st shift team.

Schedule:
  • 5:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Mon–Thurs (OT on Fridays as needed)

What You’ll Do:
  • Inspect and clean samples from CNC machines in an oily production environment
  • Perform first article and setup inspections
  • Use mechanical gauges, comparators, and optical/CMM equipment (PC-DMIS a plus)
  • Apply geometric tolerancing daily
  • Read and interpret mechanical drawings
  • Maintain accurate documentation and track calibration (Gage Trak)
  • Collaborate across disciplines to ensure quality standards
What We’re Looking For:
  • 3–5 years in manufacturing (machining or screw machine preferred)
  • Hands-on quality inspection experience
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation
  • Excel proficiency a plus
