Job Description
Quality Control Inspector - Manufacturing
- $18 – $22/hour (based on experience)
- Small, well-established company
Are you detail-oriented with experience in a manufacturing environment? We’re hiring a Quality Control Inspector to join a reputable, team-focused machine shop in the Middletown area.
This is a great opportunity to work with a stable company that values precision, teamwork, and quality craftsmanship.
Responsibilities:
- Perform in-process and final inspections of machined parts
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Use precision measuring instruments including micrometers and calipers
- Work with various basic hand tools
- Accurately document inspection results
- Enter data and maintain records using basic computer programs (Word & Excel)
- Communicate quality concerns with production team
Qualifications:
- Prior quality control experience in a manufacturing setting
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints (required)
- Experience using gauges, micrometers, and calipers
- Comfortable using basic hand tools
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
