Job Description
A.R. Mazzotta, a local staffing firm dedicated to connecting talented professionals with top companies in Connecticut, has an opportunity for an experienced FAI Quality Control Inspector.
This manufacturing client has been providing solutions to various industries for decades. And now is the time to join their team!
Contract to hire. $20 - $25 depending on experience.
We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Quality Control Inspector. The selected candidate will have a strong background in quality control processes, including first article inspection, SAP or basic computer skills, and experience with in-coming, raw materials, in-process, and final inspection. The role also involves creating Nonconformance Material Reports (NMR) and controlling rejected materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform first article inspection to ensure products meet specified standards.
- Conduct in-coming, raw materials, in-process, and final inspections.
- Utilize SAP for data entry and reporting.
- Create NMR’s for defective products.
- Control and manage rejected materials to prevent re-entry into production.
- Document and report inspection results accurately and promptly.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
