Job Description

Quality Inspector (Temporary) – Torrington Area

Our manufacturing client in the Torrington area is seeking two temporary Quality Inspectors to support their Quality Lab. This is a short-term assignment anticipated to last 10–15 weeks, with potential for future consideration on the shop floor for reliable, high-performing individuals.

What You’ll Do
  • Perform quality inspections on wet seal components
  • Use measuring tools (micrometers / calipers) and inspection equipment accurately
  • Follow written inspection procedures and work instructions
  • Document inspection results clearly and accurately
  • Perform light rework as needed (such as removing burrs from parts)
  • Maintain an organized and clean work area
  • Communicate effectively with team members and work independently when required
  • Adapt to changes in inspection procedures and priorities
What We’re Looking For
  • Prior experience using measuring tools or performing inspections is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to follow written instructions carefully
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing/quality lab environment
