Entry- Level Quality Control Inspector (Manufacturing – Rubber Products)
Portland, CT
Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
$20–$22/hour (Depending on Experience)
We are currently assisting a manufacturing client in Portland, CT with hiring a Quality Control Inspector to support daily inspection activities and ensure product quality standards are consistently met. This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on quality inspection experience who enjoys working independently in a production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections on in-process and finished products
- Use precision measuring tools including calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Verify product compliance to prints and specifications (basic blueprint reading)
- Accurately complete inspection paperwork, logs, and quality documentation
- Enter inspection data into Excel or internal quality systems
- Communicate quality issues clearly with production and leadership teams
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Hands-on experience with quality control or inspection
- Ability to read basic blueprints and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently
