Job Description

Entry- Level Quality Control Inspector (Manufacturing – Rubber Products)

Portland, CT
Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

$20–$22/hour (Depending on Experience)

We are currently assisting a manufacturing client in Portland, CT with hiring a Quality Control Inspector to support daily inspection activities and ensure product quality standards are consistently met. This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on quality inspection experience who enjoys working independently in a production environment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform visual and dimensional inspections on in-process and finished products
Use precision measuring tools including calipers, micrometers, and gauges
Verify product compliance to prints and specifications (basic blueprint reading)
Accurately complete inspection paperwork, logs, and quality documentation
Enter inspection data into Excel or internal quality systems
Communicate quality issues clearly with production and leadership teams

Qualifications

Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment
Hands-on experience with quality control or inspection
Ability to read basic blueprints and specifications
Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently
