Job Description
Quality Inspector – 1st Shift
Southington, CT | $20–$28/hr (DOE)
Join a leading manufacturer and put your inspection expertise to work! We’re seeking a skilled Quality Inspector for our 1st shift team.
Schedule:
- 5:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Mon–Thurs (OT on Fridays as needed)
What You’ll Do:
- Inspect and clean samples from CNC machines in an oily production environment
- Perform first article and setup inspections
- Use mechanical gauges, comparators, and optical/CMM equipment (PC-DMIS a plus)
- Apply geometric tolerancing daily
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings
- Maintain accurate documentation and track calibration (Gage Trak)
- Collaborate across disciplines to ensure quality standards
What We’re Looking For:
- 3–5 years in manufacturing (machining or screw machine preferred)
- Hands-on quality inspection experience
- Strong attention to detail and documentation
- Excel proficiency a plus
