Job Description
Are you experienced in the printing industry and looking for your next leadership role? We are seeking a skilled Production Lead / Press Room Operator with expertise in operating and overseeing offset presses. In this hands-on supervisory role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring high-quality print production, managing press room operations while working along side a dedicated team of professionals.
The company is in Middlesex County. $52K - $64K, plus benefits depending on experience.
The is a very hands-on lead role! You will be responsible for:
- setting up and operating digital presses and offset presses.
- making plates.
- operating other machinery used in the printing industry such as folding and binding machines.
- managing and mentoring press room staff and assisting to ensure print quality standards and delivery expectations are met.
Requirements
- Experience working in the manufacturing printing industry in a lead or supervisor role.
- Experience operating and setting-up offset press machines, folding and binding machines.
- Strong understanding of colors, color management and ink mixing to meet specifications.
- Ability to manage production workflow to ensure customer requirements and delivery schedules are met.
