Portland, CT Area
$17.50 per Hour | Full-Time | Temporary Assignment | Monday–Friday

A.R. Mazzotta is hiring Production Associates for a manufacturer in the Portland area. If you're dependable, enjoy staying active, and are looking for a full-time opportunity to gain new skills, this could be a great fit.
This is a temporary assignment with the potential for extension based on business needs. Training is provided, making it an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or build a career in manufacturing.
Convenient commute from: Portland, East Hampton, Middletown, Cromwell, Glastonbury, Marlborough, Colchester, Hebron, Rocky Hill, Wethersfield, East Hartford, and surrounding Connecticut communities.

What You'll Do
- Set up and operate packaging stations following company procedures
- Inspect finished products to ensure proper fill levels, seals, labels, and lot numbers
- Verify raw materials meet quality standards before use
- Make minor adjustments to packaging equipment as needed
- Rotate through various stations
- Assist with other production duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
- No previous manufacturing experience required – training is provided
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Comfortable following Standard Operating Procedures
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable attendance and a dependable work ethic
Physical Requirements
- Stand throughout the shift, with scheduled breaks every two hours
- Lift up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds as needed
- Perform repetitive bending, twisting, reaching, and lifting throughout the workday
