Job Description
Newington area industrial manufacturer is looking for additional Process Operators to jump in and assist during this busy time. Positions are contract but offer the possibility of hire for those that perform well.
Depending on experience, pay ranges from $16 - $20 per hour. A minimum of 2 years’ experience is required.
The Process Operator is responsible for:
- Preparing and processing components through various metal finishing operations.
- Operating sand blasting machinery, laser marking machines, and laser welding equipment.
- Loading and unloading heat treat furnace.
- Visual and dimensional inspections – requires experience using micrometers, calipers, microscopes and other basic measuring devices and gauges.
- Completing quality control inspection documentation.
- Following proper material control, identification, and traceability throughout the manufacturing process.
- Must be able to navigate the company ERP and QMS
