2nd shift Manufacturing Associate – Torrington, CT (Contract to Hire)
We’re hiring Manufacturing Associates / Production Workers / Machine Operators to join a busy manufacturing company in Torrington.
About the Role
As a Manufacturing Associate, you’ll play a vital role in producing specialized system components. You’ll receive hands-on training and rotate through a variety of manual, semi-automated, and automated tasks with a strong focus on quality, precision, and teamwork. Cross-training across departments provides variety and the opportunity to expand your skills.
- Schedule & Pay: 2nd Shift: 3:30 PM – 11:00 PM | $19.80/hr
- Training: All new hires will complete approx. 4 weeks of training on 1st shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
- Work Environment: Climate-controlled manufacturing facility located in Torrington.
What We’re Looking For
- High School Diploma or GED (required)
- Previous experience in manufacturing, production, warehouse, assembly, machine operation, construction or other hands-on roles preferred but not required.
- Interest in manufacturing with a willingness to learn
- Ability to stand and move for an entire 8-hour shift
- Physically capable of lifting to 25 lbs (more with assistance)
- Basic computer knowledge; interest in learning precision tools
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
