Payroll & HR Generalist (Construction) – Contract to Hire
- $30/hour | Immediate Opening
Take the next step in your career with a well-established organization seeking a Payroll & HR Generalist with construction industry experience. This is a high-impact role working directly with the Finance Director—ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process construction payroll (including certified payroll)
- Support union payroll requirements and compliance
- Handle HR functions: onboarding, benefits administration, employee support
- Assist with general accounting tasks (debits & credits)
- Provide office and administrative support as needed
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with construction payroll (required)
- Knowledge of certified payroll and union environments
- Understanding of basic accounting principles
- Experience with HR processes and benefits
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
