Payment Support Representative
Are you organized, detail-oriented, and interested in building your experience in an office support role? Our client is looking for a Payment Support Representative to join their small, team-oriented office. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys accuracy, routine, and learning new processes.
In this role, you’ll help support the payment process for medical bills and wage replacement claims, ensuring information is entered correctly and payments are handled in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter medical bills and related information into the company’s payment system
- Review paperwork for completeness and accuracy before processing
- Prepare and reconcile checks for payment to medical providers
- Process indemnity, refund, and recovery checks
- Route more complex or high-dollar bills to the appropriate department
- Print and maintain reserve worksheets
- Occasionally contact medical offices to confirm billing details or clarify information
Qualifications:
- Exposure to a medical office, billing environment, or administrative support role
- Familiarity with medical billing, coding, or CPT codes
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a small team
- Good computer and data entry skills
- Eagerness to learn and take on new tasks
Schedule & Work Environment:
- Onsite position
- Flexible hours: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-3:30 PM or 8:30 AM-4:30 PM
- Supportive office environment with structured training and steady workflow
This is a direct hire opportunity offering up to $54,000 annually, depending on experience.
