Payment Support Representative
Are you detail-oriented and enjoy working behind the scenes to keep processes running smoothly? Our client is seeking a Payment Support Representative to join their close-knit team of three. This role focuses on accuracy, data integrity, and ensuring timely payments for medical bills and wage replacement claims.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately input medical bills and related data into the company’s payment system.
- Verify that all required information is complete and correct prior to processing.
- Produce and reconcile checks for payment to medical providers.
- Process indemnity, refund, and recovery checks.
- Redirect complex or high-dollar bills to the appropriate department.
- Print and manage reserve worksheets.
- Occasionally contact medical offices to verify billing details or clarify coding.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a medical office or working with CPT codes preferred.
- Some knowledge or exposure to medical billing or coding is required.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
- Proficient data entry and computer skills.
Schedule & Work Environment:
- Onsite position with flexible hours: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–3:30 PM or 8:30 AM–4:30 PM.
- Supportive, focused environment with steady workflow and clear processes.
This is a direct hire opportunity offering up to $54,000 annually, depending on experience.
