Job Description
Temporary Part-Time Administrative Assistant
A.R. Mazzotta is partnering with a respected organization in the Danbury area to hire a Temporary, Part-Time Administrative Assistant.
This role is ideal for someone organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment who enjoys supporting students, staff, and daily operations.
Offering qualified candidates $20.75 per hour.
Schedule
- Approximately 20 hours per week
- Preferred schedule of 4–5 days per week, about 4–5 hours per day
What You’ll Do
- Serve as the main office support, including answering phones, greeting visitors, and relaying messages
- Coordinate large meetings and events (scheduling, room reservations, logistics)
- Assist with calendar management, correspondence, and office organization
- Support budget tracking and financial documentation
- Process invoices, purchase requisitions, and purchase orders
- Provide administrative support across Admissions and Financial Aid operations
- Offer guidance and support to student employees
- Assist with special projects and cross-functional tasks as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to multi-task and work independently
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- High level of attention to detail, especially with financial processes
- Comfort working in a collaborative, fast-paced office
- Proficiency with email, calendars, spreadsheets, and document systems
- Prior administrative or office support experience preferred
