Experienced Paralegal – Legal Experience Required
Waterford Area, CT | Temporary – Approximately 6 Weeks | $23.80/Hour
A.R. Mazzotta is seeking an experienced Paralegal for a temporary assignment of approximately six weeks in the Waterford area. This position requires prior hands-on paralegal experience and a solid understanding of legal processes and terminology.
The successful candidate for this Paralegal role will have experience handling legal documents, maintaining case files, and providing direct support in a legal environment.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Pay: $23.80 per hour

Qualifications
- Previous professional paralegal experience is required
- Recent experience working in a law firm, legal department, or other legal environment
- Strong knowledge of legal terminology, documents, procedures, and file management
- Experience preparing, reviewing, organizing, and maintaining legal documents
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard legal office technology
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Responsibilities
- Provide direct paralegal support to attorneys and legal staff
- Prepare, organize, and maintain legal documents and case files
- Review documents for completeness and accuracy
- Assist with legal correspondence and case-related documentation
- Conduct legal research and gather information as needed
- Maintain organized and confidential records
- Provide general support with day-to-day legal matters
