Operations Lead – Manufacturing Production
- New Haven County, CT
- $105,000 – $110,000 | ? 1st Shift (Approx. 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
Step into a high-impact leadership role where you’ll own production performance and serve as a key point of contact for customers. We’re seeking an Operations Lead to manage a manufacturing cell, lead a team, and confidently communicate production results in a customer-facing environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead daily production operations, scheduling, and workflow
- Manage a team of 20 operators + Quality Engineer
- Conduct weekly customer meetings, presenting and defending KPIs
- Own customer communication related to production status and delivery
- Oversee material flow, inventory, and workforce planning Drive team collaboration and continuous improvement initiatives
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in manufacturing leadership (supervisory or operations)
- Strong customer-facing communication skills – well versed in presenting data and KPIs
- Experience managing teams in a production environment
- Background in production scheduling, materials, and operations flow
Reporting Structure:
- Reports directly to the General Manager
- Oversees a Quality Engineer and production team
