Job Description
Medicare Enrollment & Eligibility Specialist - Multiple Openings
- Location: Westbrook area
- Job Type: Contract, 40 hours per week (Monday – Friday, no nights / weekends)
- Weekly Pay: $19 per hour
We are seeking a detail-oriented Medicare Enrollment & Eligibility Specialist to join our team and support enrollment and eligibility processing for a CMS Retroactive Processing Contract.
In this role, you will:
- Process retroactive enrollment, disenrollment, plan changes, and Medicaid status updates.
- Enter and update data in internal tracking systems and CMS systems accurately and timely.
- Ensure compliance with CMS enrollment guidance and internal/external Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
- Assist with additional review tasks during peak periods.
Qualifications:
- 1+ years experience in healthcare enrollment, eligibility processing, medical claims, or a similar administrative role.
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, CMS processes, or healthcare plans preferred.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently, follow detailed procedures, and manage time-sensitive tasks.
- Proficiency with data entry and navigating multiple computer systems.
