Medical Receptionist – New Britain, CT
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Contract to Hire
Join a busy medical office as a Medical Receptionist and be the first point of contact for patients. We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and providing excellent customer service. This role is ideal for individuals with front desk, healthcare receptionist, or patient services experience who are looking to grow in the medical field.
Responsibilities:
- Answer phones and schedule appointments
- Greet patients, manage check-in and check-out process
- Collect copays and verify insurance information
- Scan and update patient information into electronic records
- Provide general administrative support to the office team
- Deliver excellent customer service to patients and visitors
Qualifications:
- Previous medical office, front desk, or receptionist experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) a plus
- Customer service or patient services background is helpful
