Job Description
Manufacturing Associates & Mechanical Assemblers – Multiple Openings | All Shifts
A.R. Mazzotta has partnered with a growing manufacturing company in the Torrington area to hire Manufacturing Associates and Mechanical Assemblers for multiple openings on all shifts.
Pay ranges from $18.00 - $20.70/hour depending on position and shift differential. Mechanical Assembler openings start at $19.00/hour.
Training is available on 1st or 2nd shift for approximately 4 weeks before transitioning to your assigned schedule.
Conveniently commutable from Winsted, Harwinton, Barkhamsted, New Hartford, Winchester, Litchfield, Waterbury, and surrounding communities.

Manufacturing Associate Responsibilities
- Perform assembly, production, machine operation, and inspection duties
- Follow detailed instructions and quality standards
- Inspect parts for accuracy and consistency
- Rotate between departments for cross-training and workflow support
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Mechanical Assembler Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical components and subassemblies using hand and power tools
- Read and follow blueprints, diagrams, and work instructions
- Inspect completed assemblies to ensure quality standards are met
- Support production and team goals in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- Manufacturing, assembly, machine operation, warehouse, or mechanical experience preferred
- Entry-level candidates with mechanical aptitude and strong work ethic encouraged to apply
- Ability to stand/walk throughout shift and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Basic computer skills and willingness to learn
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and team-oriented
