2nd Shift Manufacturing Associate – Contract to Hire
Looking for a stable 2nd shift opportunity with paid training and long-term potential? A growing manufacturer in Litchfield County is expanding their production team. Ideal for candidates with hands-on experience or those ready to build a career in manufacturing. Training on 1st shift is required.

Position Overview
Join a team producing specialized components in a clean, climate-controlled facility. This role offers hands-on training and the opportunity to learn multiple processes across production, including assembly, machine operation, and inspection. Variety, skill-building, and advancement potential included.
Schedule & Pay
- 2nd Shift: 3:30 PM – 11:00 PM
- Pay: $19.80/hour / $18 per hour during 1st shift training
- Training: Approximately 4 weeks on 1st shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
What You’ll Do
- Perform a mix of assembly, production, and machine operation tasks
- Follow detailed instructions to meet quality and production standards
- Inspect parts and ensure accuracy and consistency
- Rotate between departments to support workflow and cross-training
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
What We’re Looking For
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Prior experience in manufacturing, warehouse, assembly, machine operation, or other hands-on work is helpful
- Entry-level candidates with strong work ethic and mechanical aptitude encouraged to apply
- Ability to stand/walk for full shift and lift to 25 lbs (with assistance for heavier items)
- Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new systems and tools
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and team-focused
