Job Description
A.R. Mazzotta has partnered with a growing company who has strong roots in Connecticut dating back to the 1800’s to find talented Machine Setters for this busy Torrington manufacturer.
Must be able to train on 1st shift and then transition into your regular 2nd shift schedule, in addition to working overtime as needed.
$16.50 – 17:50/hr. depending on experience, plus benefits.
As a Machine Setter, you will be responsible for and must have experience in:

As a Machine Setter, you will be responsible for and must have experience in:
- Setting up and operating various grinding machines
- Solid math skills including decimals to 5 places
- Mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity, lifting up to 40 lbs. and being on your feet throughout entire shift
- Ability to use basic hand tools, measuring gauges and read blueprints
- Experience in ID, OD, double disk or centerless grinding is desired
