Machine Operator – 1st & 2nd Shift (Multiple Openings)

A manufacturing company in the Torrington area is hiring Machine Operators for both 1st and 2nd shift openings. This is a great opportunity for individuals with prior machine operation or manufacturing experience who enjoy hands-on work, consistency, and working in a production environment.
Pay: $17 - $19 per hour based on shift and specific machine operating role
Schedule: Full-time, 1st & 2nd shift availability

What You’ll Do
- Operate production machinery in a manufacturing setting
- Load and unload parts from machines
- Inspect parts as they come off machines for quality and defects
- Perform basic measurements and visual inspections
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow safety procedures and production guidelines
- Report any machine issues or quality concerns to supervisors
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 6 months of machine operating or manufacturing experience
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Strong attention to detail for quality inspection
- Reliability and good attendance are essential
- Willingness to learn and work in a team environment
- Basic math and measurement skills a plus
