Job Description

Junior Tool Setter – Direct Hire

Looking to grow your manufacturing career? We’re hiring a Junior Tool Setter for a direct hire opportunity with hands-on training and mentorship from experienced team members. Ideal for candidates with press set-up experience who want to develop into a skilled Die Setter / Tooling Specialist.

$45,000 - $72,000, depending on experience

What You’ll Do:

Assist with tooling set-ups & changeovers
Support powered metal molding press operations
Perform basic tool maintenance & adjustments

Troubleshoot press or tooling issues
Use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, indicators)
Work closely with senior staff for training and development

What We’re Looking For:

Experience with stamping or molding presses preferred
2+ years manufacturing experience
Ability to read blueprints (GD&T knowledge a plus)
Experience with hydraulic or mechanical presses
Comfortable using precision measurement equipment
Strong mechanical aptitude & problem-solving skills
Technical or vocational training is a plus
