Job Description
Are you an HR Generalist who is looking for a new opportunity? A.R. Mazzotta has an opening for you! Our Wallingford area client has a contract position for an experienced Human Resources Generalist to assist their busy team. Excellent opportunity to keep your resume fresh with relevant experience.

The HR Generalist is responsible for recruitment, employee relations, salary administration, all HR related matters and project management.
Company uses HRIS – the All-In-One HR platform. Experience would be a plus!
Recruitment responsibilities include:
- Source candidates
- Screen applicants
- Schedule interviews
Employee Relations
- Counseling
- Assist with training programs
- Assist with investigations, corrective actions plans and grievances
- Handle compliance issues
- Assist with unemployment claims and hearings
- Assist with employee termination process including conducting exit interviews when necessary
Additional HR related tasks
- Provide guidance and support to management on policies
- Interpret employment policies as needed to employees and/or supervisors
- Assist with HR reports, tends, suggest action plans
