Job Description
Our non-profit client in the Deep River area is seeking two motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join their team. We are currently looking for an HR Assistant to help with Recruiting and general HR support, and another individual to assist with Benefits & Payroll administration.
Both positions are contract to hire, offering $20 per hour and a pathway to permanent employment based on performance.
Some of the day-to-day responsibilities include the following:
- Assist with the hiring process, including posting job openings, screening candidates, and conducting reference checks.
- Support staffing and scheduling needs.
- Track benefit time and monitor time off requests.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
- Provide general administrative support to the HR department.
- Complete payroll processing accurately and on time.
- Communicate and manage employee benefits, including 403(b) plans and medical insurance.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee benefits inquiries.
- Maintain accurate records of employee benefits and payroll information.
We’re looking for the following skills & experience:
- 1+ years experience in the HR field
- Experience with payroll processing and benefits administration.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
