Grind Machine Operator - 3rd shift
Winsted, CT | $18/hour | Contract with Potential for Hire
Build your manufacturing skills with a company that offers room to grow. We are looking for a Grind Machine Operator to join a manufacturing team in the Winsted area. 3rd shift opening with required training on 1st shift.
This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who enjoys working with equipment, learning how things work, and developing new technical skills. Previous machine operating experience is helpful, but not required. Candidates with manufacturing experience, mechanical aptitude, or technical/vocational school training are encouraged to apply.
What You'll Do
- Operate grinding equipment to produce quality parts
- Follow work instructions and production specifications
- Monitor the process and inspect finished parts for quality
- Make adjustments as needed within established procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Learn the equipment and manufacturing processes
- Work toward taking on additional responsibilities as your skills develop

What We're Looking For
- Manufacturing or machine operating experience is helpful, but not required

- Ability to follow instructions and established processes
- Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic
- Willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities
Pay: $18/hour
