Job Description

Deburring / Finishing Technician – Manufacturing

Location: New Haven area
Contract to hire
Pay: $18 - $25 per hour depending on experience. This position does not offer medical benefits.

Join a small manufacturing team where precision matters. We’re looking for a detail-oriented Deburring / Finishing Technician to grind, deburr, and finish metal components with accuracy and care. If you have experience working with hand tools, power tools, or grinding equipment – and take pride in producing clean, quality parts – we want to meet you.

What You’ll Do:

Deburr and finish metal parts using hand tools, power tools, and grinders
Smooth edges, remove excess material, and prep surfaces for the next stage
Read and follow work instructions and part drawings
Inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, and gauges
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines

What We’re Looking For:

Previous experience in deburring, finishing, or grinding in a manufacturing setting
Familiarity with metal parts and precision finishing
Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
Ability to read and interpret work orders or blueprints
Dependable and able to work independently or as part of a team
