Job Description
Deburring / Finishing Technician – Manufacturing
- Location: New Haven area
- Contract to hire
- Pay: $18 - $25 per hour depending on experience. This position does not offer medical benefits.
Join a small manufacturing team where precision matters. We’re looking for a detail-oriented Deburring / Finishing Technician to grind, deburr, and finish metal components with accuracy and care. If you have experience working with hand tools, power tools, or grinding equipment – and take pride in producing clean, quality parts – we want to meet you.
What You’ll Do:
- Deburr and finish metal parts using hand tools, power tools, and grinders
- Smooth edges, remove excess material, and prep surfaces for the next stage
- Read and follow work instructions and part drawings
- Inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, and gauges
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in deburring, finishing, or grinding in a manufacturing setting
- Familiarity with metal parts and precision finishing
- Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret work orders or blueprints
- Dependable and able to work independently or as part of a team
