Field Service Technician – Industrial Controls
Pay: $35–$40 per hour, based on experience

A.R. Mazzotta is recruiting for an established engineering firm with more than 30 years of experience in process automation and control system integration. The company provides service support, PLC and HMI modifications, troubleshooting, instrumentation calibration, and system startup for customers throughout Connecticut.
This is a hands-on Field Service Technician opportunity and an excellent fit for someone with a background in water or wastewater treatment, particularly those with experience working with instrumentation, electrical controls, industrial equipment, or automated systems.
What You'll Do:
- Troubleshoot and service industrial control systems and equipment
- Work with control panels, system wiring, and electrical controls
- Perform instrument calibration and system startup
- Assist with PLC and HMI modifications
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints
- Troubleshoot electrical, instrumentation, and equipment issues
- Work with low- and high-voltage electrical systems
- Travel to customer jobsites throughout Connecticut
What We're Looking For:
- 3+ years of related technical or industrial experience
- Water or wastewater treatment experience strongly preferred
- Experience with instrumentation, electrical controls, or industrial equipment
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints
- Manufacturing or other industrial facility experience is also relevant
- Valid driver's license
- Comfortable working independently at customer jobsites
- Physical & Work Environment:
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Comfortable working in a variety of indoor and outdoor environments
- Willingness to travel throughout Connecticut to customer jobsites
