Job Description
A.R. Mazzotta is partnering with an established construction company in the Wallingford area to hire an experienced Estimator for a full-time, direct hire opportunity. If you enjoy putting together competitive bids, working through project details, and collaborating with subcontractors and leadership, this could be a great next step in your career.

In this role, you will:
- Develop detailed, accurate project estimates, bids, and proposals
- Review architectural drawings, specifications, and project documentation
- Perform quantity take-offs and identify project scope requirements
- Gather and evaluate subcontractor and vendor pricing
- Communicate with subcontractors, vendors, and leadership throughout the bidding process
- Analyze labor, materials, timelines, and overall project costs
- Support estimating and pre-construction activities from start to finish
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of construction estimating experience
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction specifications
- Understanding of construction methods, materials, and project flow
- Experience with estimating software, CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Acrobat
- Strong organizational and follow-through skills
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent hands-on industry experience
