Job Description
Customer Service Representative (Call Center) – Temporary
A.R. Mazzotta is hiring a Customer Service Representative for a busy call center team in the Westbrook, CT area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with call center or strong customer service experience who enjoys helping customers and working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
This position begins fully onsite for training (up to 3 months), with the opportunity to transition to a hybrid schedule once training is complete and performance expectations are met.
Schedule Options
- Preferred: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (40 hours/week, minus lunch)
- Initial training requires onsite attendance Monday–Friday
- After training: potential remote work Mondays and Fridays
Pay & Opportunity
- $25.00 per hour
- Temporary role with potential for full-time hire
- Organization regularly has internal movement and advancement opportunities
What You’ll Do
- Provide excellent customer service by handling incoming calls in a call center environment
- Respond to questions related to billing, service, transfers, collections, and payments
- Review and interpret customer records, account history, and service information
- Utilize internal systems to access data, enter notes, and generate reports
- Support field service teams with customer information and coordination
- Provide backup reception coverage in regional offices as needed
- Follow all company safety rules and workplace regulations
- Assist with additional duties or special projects as assigned
What We’re Looking For
- Call center or strong customer service experience required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and standard office systems
- Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
