Job Description

A.R. Mazzotta is actively interviewing dedicated and experienced Administrative Assistant / Customer Service Representatives with a background in healthcare insurance for an upcoming project working on-site in the Meriden area.

Excellent opportunity to work for a leader in the healthcare industry dedicated to delivering high-quality insurance related services to their customers. They are committed to ensuring the best possible care for their members, and they are expanding their team to support the upcoming project.

Training for these administrative assistant openings will begin in January. Project is expected to run through May 2024.
Full time day hours, Monday – Friday. $19 per hour.

As an administrative assistant, you will be supporting the quality management department with the following tasks:

Requesting medical records.
Filing, copying, scanning, and faxing of request forms and/or documents.
Maintaining organized files.
Assisting with retrieving medical records, looking up claims and phone calls.
Following all HIPPA guidelines and regulations.

Qualifications:

Previous administrative experience
Good customer service skills
Healthcare / medical background
Solid knowledge of MS Office including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Adaptability
Highly organized
Excellent written and verbal communication.
