Job Description

A.R. Mazzotta is actively interviewing dedicated and experienced Administrative Assistant / Customer Service Representatives with a background in healthcare insurance for an upcoming project working on-site in the Meriden area.  

Excellent opportunity to work for a leader in the healthcare industry dedicated to delivering high-quality insurance related services to their customers. They are committed to ensuring the best possible care for their members, and they are expanding their team to support the upcoming project.

  • Training for these administrative assistant openings will begin in January. Project is expected to run through May 2024.
  • Full time day hours, Monday – Friday. $19 per hour.
As an administrative assistant, you will be supporting the quality management department with the following tasks:
  • Requesting medical records.
  • Filing, copying, scanning, and faxing of request forms and/or documents.
  • Maintaining organized files.
  • Assisting with retrieving medical records, looking up claims and phone calls.
  • Following all HIPPA guidelines and regulations.
Qualifications:
  • Previous administrative experience
  • Good customer service skills
  • Healthcare / medical background
  • Solid knowledge of MS Office including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Adaptability
  • Highly organized
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
