Job Description

Administrative Assistant – With Accounting Experience

Watertown Area – Contract to Hire

We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Administrative Accounting Assistant to join a busy manufacturing office. This role combines administrative support with light accounting duties, requiring excellent customer service skills and comfort wearing multiple hats.

Key Responsibilities

Manage front desk: answer phones, greet visitors, and assist with inquiries
Enter data and maintain financial records using QuickBooks Desktop
Review and process invoices with accuracy
Support general office operations and assist team members as needed

Requirements

Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop
Strong organizational and communication skills
Prior administrative and/or bookkeeping experience preferred
Computer savvy; manufacturing industry experience a plus
Dependable, adaptable, and detail-focused

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (40 hours/week)
