Job Description
Essex area manufacturing company has an opening in their accounting department for an accounts payable specialist. We are looking for a person who has experience handling AP functions and can take the lead to ensure payments are being made within a timely manner and accurately.
Temporary with the potential of hire for the right accounting professional. Up to $30 per hour, depending on experience plus benefits package.
As the lead accounts payable specialist, you will oversee and manage all the AP activities.
- Process accounts payable
- Review posted transactions for accuracy
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Process credit card transactions
- General ledger entries
- Assist the controller and department with other accounting functions where needed
Experience working with Sage would be a plus. Strong MS Word, Excel and Outlook knowledge required.
