Job Description
Are you ready to utilize your financial expertise in a dynamic accounting role? Our client in the Southington area is seeking a talented Accounting Specialist / Bookkeeper to join their team.
Position Highlights:
- Full time: April through September to handle peak-season volume.
- Part time: 1-2 days per week during the slower winter months.
- Compensation: $23 - $25 per hour based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- The ideal candidate will bring prior accounting experience and a solid understanding of GAAP (General Accepted Accounting Principles) to:
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare financial statements and reports.
- Perform account reconciliations.
- Utilize QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
- Processing quarterly taxes.
- Provide general office support and handle additional accounting-related tasks as needed.
