Job Description

Are you ready to utilize your financial expertise in a dynamic accounting role? Our client in the Southington area is seeking a talented Accounting Specialist / Bookkeeper to join their team.

Position Highlights:

Full time: April through September to handle peak-season volume.
Part time: 1-2 days per week during the slower winter months.
Compensation: $23 - $25 per hour based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will bring prior accounting experience and a solid understanding of GAAP (General Accepted Accounting Principles) to:
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Prepare financial statements and reports.
Perform account reconciliations.
Utilize QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
Processing quarterly taxes.
Provide general office support and handle additional accounting-related tasks as needed.
