Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Are you looking for an opportunity to grow your accounting and administrative skills in a professional office environment? Our client is seeking an Accounting Assistant to join their team in a direct hire position offering stability, training, and long-term career potential.
This role will support day-to-day accounting functions while also assisting with client service and general office operations. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of basic accounting principles, strong organizational skills, and a professional, customer-focused approach.
Responsibilities
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
- Process and organize financial and client-related documents
- Support tax return processing and related administrative tasks
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls
- Provide exceptional service to clients and visitors
- Maintain accurate records and filing systems
- Assist with additional accounting and office projects as needed
Qualifications
- Prior accounting, bookkeeping, or accounting assistant experience preferred
- Understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting concepts
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Professional communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy office environment
