Job Description

Accountant

This position has been filled, but new opportunities open daily.

We are currently seeking a full-time Accountant for a direct hire opportunity with a growing company located in Norwalk, Connecticut. This is an on-site, Monday–Friday (8:00 AM–5:00 PM) position supporting daily accounting operations and month-end reporting.

Offering qualified candidates anywhere from $65,000-$85,000 depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities

Process accounts receivable, including invoicing, cash receipts, and collections
Handle accounts payable and purchase order processing
Perform general ledger reconciliations
Enter and manage sales orders (web, distributor, and direct orders)
Support inventory management and logistics coordination with a 3PL warehouse
Reconcile inventory by location and resolve discrepancies
Monitor FIFO procedures and inventory controls
Provide customer support via phone, email, and CRM
Assist with month-end close and internal financial reporting

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (CMA preferred)
2+ years of accounting experience
Experience with SAGE or similar accounting software
Strong Excel and Microsoft Office 365 skills
CRM experience a plus
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to multitask and work independently
Clear written and verbal communication skills
