Job Description
Part Time Accounting & Finance Assistant
- Essex area
- 25 hours per week, Monday – Friday, Morning hours (flexible start time)
- Contract to hire
- Qualifies for PTO & 401K after hire
- $28 - $30 an hour, depending on experience
A well-established company in Essex is adding to their team and looking for a part-time Accounting & Finance Assistant. This is a great opportunity for someone who is reliable, detailed oriented, and values working in a professional environment.
You’ll be handling
- Accounts Payable (A/P)
- Billing & Bank Reconciliation
- General Ledger work
- Payroll processing
- QuickBooks
- Advanced Excel tasks: formulas, spreadsheets, and data manipulation
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has recent experience in an accounting or finance support role
- Knows how to keep financial information confidential
- Enjoys staying organized and working independently
