Job Description

Part Time Accounting & Finance Assistant
  • Essex area
  • 25 hours per week, Monday – Friday, Morning hours (flexible start time)
  • Contract to hire
  • Qualifies for PTO & 401K after hire
  • $28 - $30 an hour, depending on experience
A well-established company in Essex is adding to their team and looking for a part-time Accounting & Finance Assistant. This is a great opportunity for someone who is reliable, detailed oriented, and values working in a professional environment.

You’ll be handling
  • Accounts Payable (A/P)
  • Billing & Bank Reconciliation
  • General Ledger work
  • Payroll processing
  • QuickBooks
  • Advanced Excel tasks: formulas, spreadsheets, and data manipulation
We’re looking for someone who:
  • Has recent experience in an accounting or finance support role
  • Knows how to keep financial information confidential
  • Enjoys staying organized and working independently
