Job Description

Are you looking for a part-time opportunity in the Thomaston area? Does your experience include entering customer orders, and performing administrative tasks? If this sounds like you, A.R. Mazzotta may have the administrative – customer service job for you!

We have partnered with a local manufacturer that has been producing specialty parts in their industry for almost 50 years to find a part-time administrative assistant to join their team.

Contract to hire. $17 - $18 per hour.

Preferred schedule: Monday – Thursday, 9am – 3pm and Friday, 9am – 1pm
Schedule is flexible for the right administrative assistant.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Processing customer orders and work orders into the computer system.
  • Preparing and emailing quotes to customers
  • Invoicing customers
  • Responding to emails
  • Answering phones
  • Creating shipping labels and scheduling pick ups
  • Assisting the office with general administrative tasks
Requirements:
  • Ability to commit to part time hours on a long-term basis.
  • Experience working as an administrative assistant.
  • Customer Service / Order Entry experience preferably within the manufacturing industry.
  • Extremely comfortable working on Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to learn new computer programs with ease.
  • CRM or ERP computer system experience a plus.
