Job Description
Direct hire opportunity working for a manufacturing company dedicated to precision engineering and innovative solutions. They take pride in their commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. They have an opening on their dynamic team for a highly skilled CNC Machinist Lead with G-Code experience.
$30 per hour, depending on experience.
We are interviewing CNC Machinists with expertise in G-Code programming to operate and maintain CNC machines and oversee a team of machine operators for this company. The ideal machinist should have a strong background in machining, a deep understanding of G-Code, and a passion for producing high-precision components. If you are a detail-oriented, experienced CNC Machinist looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines to produce high-precision parts and components.
- Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to determine machining requirements.
- Program and edit G-Code for CNC machines to achieve desired specifications.
- Select and install appropriate tooling, fixtures, and workholding devices.
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot issues to prevent downtime.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Adhere to safety and quality procedures at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist with G-Code programming expertise.
- Proficiency in setting up and operating CNC machines, including mills and lathes.
- Strong knowledge of G-Code programming and CNC Codes
- Prior experience leading or supervising a production team.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Familiarity with a wide range of machining tools and equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Safety-conscious and able to follow safety protocols.
