A.R. Mazzotta has a part time payroll opening in the New Britain area. We are looking for an efficient Payroll Administrator who has experience handling the entire payroll process using QuickBooks. Including managing employee data, verifying timesheets, computing wages, and ensuring employees are paid on time.
Our client’ s small casual office will provide plenty of space for social distancing – keeping you and your colleagues safety in mind.
Part time day hours are perfect for the Payroll Administrator looking to keep their skills fresh while enjoying long weekends!
Hours: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 9am – 3pm.
$20 per hour, based on payroll experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience processing payroll from start to finish
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) is a plus
- Must have experience processing payroll using QuickBooks
- Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask efficiently and have good time management skills
- Solid understanding of federal and state payroll laws
- Verifying timesheets
- Calculating payable hours
- Issuing checks and/or managing direct deposits
- Answering employees’ questions regarding payroll matters
- Maintaining employee records
- Assisting with other payroll / accounting related tasks as needed
