Job Description

Medical Records Clerk – Multiple Openings

Looking to get your foot in the door with the State of Connecticut? We have multiple full-time contract openings for Medical Records Clerks in Bridgeport, CT, starting in October. These roles pay $17.55 per hour and offer valuable experience working in the medical records department.

Responsibilities:

Maintain and update patient medical records with accuracy and confidentiality

File, retrieve, and organize records in accordance with department procedures

Handle requests for medical records and documentation

Ensure compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality regulations

Support general office tasks within the medical records department

Requirements:

Prior experience handling medical records is required

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

Proficiency with office systems and filing procedures
