Job Description
New opportunity for a professional administrative assistant that enjoys being the first point of contact for clients by phone and in-person. This small, casual, yet professional office is looking to add an Administrative Assistant / Receptionist to their team!
Working on-site in their office located in the Glastonbury area, Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5pm. Contract to hire, $20 per hour.
In this administrative assistant / receptionist role, you will be responsible for:
- answering phones.
- greeting clients arriving at the office.
- scheduling meetings.
- coordinating travel arrangements.
- updating database and running reports as requested.
- assisting team members prepare for client meetings.
- handling follow up correspondence.
- providing support with marketing efforts.
- providing overall administrative support for the office and team.
What skills, experience and attributes will work well for this opening?
- Excellent interpersonal skills – enjoys interacting with clients
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
- Ability to learn new computer programs with ease
- Experience working with a CRM system is plus
- Thrives in a fast past working environment
- Flexible to switch tasks when needed
