Job Description
A.R. Mazzotta is actively interviewing dedicated and experienced Administrative Assistant / Customer Service Representatives with a background in healthcare insurance for an upcoming project working on-site in the Meriden area.
Excellent opportunity to work for a leader in the healthcare industry dedicated to delivering high-quality insurance related services to their customers. They are committed to ensuring the best possible care for their members, and they are expanding their team to support the upcoming project.
- Training for these administrative assistant openings will begin in January. Project is expected to run through May 2024.
- Full time day hours, Monday – Friday. $19 per hour.
As an administrative assistant, you will be supporting the quality management department with the following tasks:
- Requesting medical records.
- Filing, copying, scanning, and faxing of request forms and/or documents.
- Maintaining organized files.
- Assisting with retrieving medical records, looking up claims and phone calls.
- Following all HIPPA guidelines and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Previous administrative experience
- Good customer service skills
- Healthcare / medical background
- Solid knowledge of MS Office including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Adaptability
- Highly organized
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
